Cries of the Empty Night
Cries of the Empty Night
I thirst for your tender tears
for they fill my solitudes
I smell your fragrance
but kiss the mist
come to me my love
I wait for the rousing rain
each drop a kiss that I taste
I hunger within the anxious night
your touch that embraces my heart
ripples of your love
adrift in my tears of desire
sailing the silent seas
I would sacrifice my eyes
If your face was the last I saw
as the darkness whispers to the light
I wait for you my love
with cries in the empty night
a silhouette fades away
my soul awaits you
In eternity.
This poem was inspired by Brandy Nicole...she tried a bit of my style...and now I am returning the favor...doesn't come close to her engaging, beautiful elegant style...but she has the magic touch(she's a girl lol)...thank you, Brandy...you inspire, along with other beautiful ladies on this site...
