We had stormy weather here on Sunday, December 29, 2024 and ever since my computer or internet has been messed up. It is hanging up and things not going through or it won't move at all. I am wondering if it is in the internet or did the stormy weather do damage to my computer? Is anyone else in the south in America having problems? Thanks for responding.

Such things can happen if there is a violent storm or heavy rain. Hope by now, things are back to normal and you are able to use your computer.

I hope the problem is cleared up soon, did you contact your internet provider? We have had issues on and off over time, and they usually send someone out if more of our neighbors are dealing with issues.

BJ, I finally tried to cold boot my computer down yesterday because that will fix the computer back to where it was before the problem happened. The first time did not fix it but the second time it repaired the problem plus I did go in and try to get rid of some unnecessary cookies, etc. It wasn't the internet because other things in the house connected to the internet were okay. I guess when the electricity went off plus then we had several power surges was what had messed it up. Thanks for the suggestions. Sara K

Tom, oh, silly me. Yes, I meant December. I have lapses in memory at time. Age is taking its toll plus the stress. LOL..So we are so close to each other. I live south of Atlanta. Glad you are having no problems. Sara K

As per my opinion computer without internet is nothing but just a box . And internet without computer is unusable. So to work properly we need both . As for the function of the world we equally need male and female . So in this situation both computer and internet is equally needed for virtual connection and many more .

Shambhavi, I totally agree. It must be in my computer because my grandson and my husband are not having the same problems. I guess it needs to go in for repair. Thanks for the visit and very interesting comments. Sara K..My husband has a Bible study program on his computer, and he thinks he doesn't have to be connected to the internet to use it, but I think he does. He thinks it is stored on his computer, and he could operate it without the internet connection. Sara K
