Come Stay

et répète les demi-vérités Of nights waning through distance where hidden breezes lie in still glances fall out a painted window eyes wonder but they never will Kiss the moonbeams of a thousand angels float along in sudden flight tender dreams wrapped in silken starlight feeling free in a pristine light Fly to me on wistful trade winds let your hair fall to the way close your mind to frightful vision in my touch, with me, come stay Embrace my suffrage in gilded gold shine for the world to steal write your heart upon my prison I long, with you, to feel Don't repeat what I can't hear my tears have all dripped away tame the truth with gentle guidance and in your words I'll lay

How you write of romance, Tim....with a full heart...with longing. That's what makes the piece so special. Lovely

Tim, this one steals my heart, and I think it's the best you've written in some time. Yes, I think it's THAT alluring. Just when I thought one stanza was the epitome of romantic longing, the next is more awesome. A strong favorite for me.
