Christmas Love
C hrist came to us from up above,
H eaven's gift of Holy Love.
R esting in a rustic shed
I nnocent Mary laid her head,
S urrendering sweetly to His will
T he awaited promise to fulfill.
M anly Joseph stood near by
A s angels sang in joy on high.
S ome shepherds saw the moving star,
L eft their flocks to travel far.
O ut of the Orient, they filed,
V owing they would find the Child,
E xotic kings and seeking sages,
earning space on Bible pages.
