Miracles happen during Christmas
Lights begin to shine in the eyes
Of those random strangers passing
Who never before noticed the hope
That has always lived inside you
Miracles happen during Christmas
Joy enters the depths of the soul
Pouring out inspiration and wonder
That causes a whisper of belief
To breathe tenderness and peace
Miracles happen during Christmas
Compassion colors the entire world
In hues of crimson reminiscence
And emerald pine that leaves intimacy
Stirring the family to clasp hands in faith
Miracles happen during Christmas
Silent night caresses the heart
With music sent from the heavens
To leave hearts with assurance that
Jesus is alive and answering prayers
Miracles happen during Christmas
Dreams of unity are finally assured
Grace carries with it the promise
Of a relationship that will last forever
Through the best and worst that comes
Miracles happen during Christmas
Poetry enlightens the tender heart
The one who was discouraged and fearful
Finally discovers that sympathy is real
And kindness is renewed each morning
Miracles happen during Christmas
Dreams are finally fulfilled by love
A love that lasts throughout the ages
Keeping hope and faith in God’s mercy
As more than a mere dream of Christmas
