Chocolate Blues

Ive got the chocolate blues tonight It is completely driving me mad I hear chocolate shouting my name l want it soooo bad I can smell it , l can taste it So velvety and sweet My mind and body are craving it I want , no l “need” it to eat But alas , l cannot indulge tonight As l am carrying years of chocolate overload One more piece in this precious temple It will erupt and explode!

I’ve got the answer for you, Deb. Get that chocolate that is packed solid with whole nuts, cos nuts is good and healthy and there’s less chocolate to make you feel guilty. See… I’m not just a pretty face. Hope you said, ‘To hell with it’ and indulged cos a little of what you fancy does you good… and I’m not referring to your pool guy!

Thats the problem Terry…its never a little ….its all or nothing…..and that applies to my gardener…..tired of the pool guy sacked him!! Haha….Debx

This is absolutely delightfully delicious, Deb! Oh, how I can sympathize with you. And, even when I think I can have just "a wee bit of Heaven, I find I can't stop and one taste is never enough! I think that is called an obsession! This is so well written and so much fun! Many thanks for sharing this delectable poem! Off to raid my chocolate chip stash! Blessings!

Oh Deb, stop it...just eat it (lol). Hershey's, Reece's, Snickers and Chocolate Kisses. There ya go...now if that doesn't give you the urge maybe a glass of chocolate milk or hot cocoa will do the trick. (lol) A very "Sweet" write! Love this! Charliex

Never craved sweets much. Give me that bacon double cheeseburger and fries! Seriously, chocolate (dark) is healthy - in moderation, of course! Buona mangia!
