Cheers

Hello barkeep, please pour me a beer. Have you seen my mates hanging round here? Surely you remember, possum face Pete? He loves to dance but he has two left feet. What about Carl he's a handsome guy? Long flowing hair but missing one eye, Please pour me another that tasted great. It seem I'm alone my friends are all late. How can you not remember, Bob the Boar? He look like a hobbit except six foot four Wait a minute, have you been here long? The beer is good but something feels wrong. The first time you've seen me, how can that be? I tell you I'm stunned, it's a mystery. I still remember when Moe won this Bar He started with a few bucks in a glass jar. I'm sorry, I guess I turned the wrong way. This has been such a perplexing day

At least you found a beer you enjoyed Rick, worth getting lost in your poetry thoughts and wandering into the wrong bar for, mind you, I'm TT so wouldn't know lol Take care, Richard

Love it. It is funny, but with an underlying sadness that softly creeps through the words

Is there really such a thing as going to the wrong bar? ;-) A pint is a pint, whereever you go. This was a cool read!

Sorry, can't help interferring: Juli-Michelle, you are right, this man is getting better and better and it's really amazing how he literally rules over ANY poetry form he puts a spell on! His brain-heart-spirit-soul system is so blessed with an eternal self-generating flow that , as he says, these poems of hi are literally WRITING THEMSELVES!!!

That is a sweet thing to say. I kinda like that masquerade one myself, it does feel like I wrote it a long time ago. Sometimes when I look back it feels like some poems wrote them selves.
