We began a new chapter in life,
made a promise and commitment;
we sealed it with a kiss,
and a new chapter began for me.
At night your kisses made me fly,
we had so many dreams and hopes;
oh, together we would get it all,
our future was full of promise.
Each new day was the best,
as we took our time and enjoyed each step;
head to head we talked about our dreams,
and put together the perfect plan.
And when you died, I cried because,
here were years of loving ahead of us;
but now I must find my way alone,
and a new chapter begins for me.
