Chainsaw People
Noisy mankind
Riding mower machines.
Rip the cord. Rev the engine.
Bang the nail, throw debris.
Point the blower, louder, faster.
No one heard the angelus ring.
Everyone forgot to pray
The churches fell
And came the last day.
