Chainsaw People

Noisy mankind Riding mower machines. Rip the cord. Rev the engine. Bang the nail, throw debris. Point the blower, louder, faster. No one heard the angelus ring. Everyone forgot to pray The churches fell And came the last day. ©Kathryn McL. Collins

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Love all the obnoxious noises in this! But I hope this isn't prophetic!

Your themes are so interesting and varied... I love it when writers refuse to be labelled, and you will never be guilty of THAT! A devastating final verse, and full, rich imagery. BRAVO Kathy!! Luv, Keith :)
