Castle On a Hill
There is a castle on a hill
where only bats abide
Some say it's haunted still
but none dare go inside
They say the former resident
was a lady known as Ann
All her husbands died by "accident"
She never kept a man (long)
A stranger came to town one day
looking for a thrill
And so he made his way
To the castle on the hill
He never thought that ghost existed
I guess he never knew
But the townsfolk had insisted
They knew it to be true
As soon as he entered he felt a chill
Like he'd never felt before
He quickly regretted his decision
As he stood frozen to the floor
When as he looked up at the stairs
He saw the ghost of Ann appear
His voice was silenced by fear
As he stood there looking pale
He now wished this was a bad dream
But it was as real as it seemed......
In a castle on a hill
There lives a ghost named Ann
It seems a stranger looking for thrills
Has now become her man!
