That conniving bird Tweety Pie Hoodwinked me and told me a lie Said I’d take centre stage If I crept in his cage Imprisoned, I’m here till I die!

Oh, Jan! Loved this witty write. I'm smiling away. Do you know I have 3 cats? My neighbours left behind two when they moved and I felt so sorry for them that I took them in. Took my cat a while to adjust but... we're a happy family for the most part. Great write!

Aww thanks Terry, I love the 'brilliant' bit especially lol, I've probably written well in excess of 600 limericks , I didnt start writing until 2013 (and was never a poetry fan at school ) but my hubby had cancer surgery, I wrote a few poems, I joined soup and started to write limericks after trying a soup contest and now it is my favourite form and I have many in my book and lots more new ones will be in book #2:-) hugs jan xx
