Butterfly
So few days to live your life butterfly
Firstly you are so small and vulnerable
Compelled to feed and survive
Finished your task, wrap up and stay safe
Then comes the day you finally emerge
Able to flitter and flutter
Flying and finding a mate
Drinking fragrant nectar
Focussed on fulfilling your purpose
And then when your wings are faded
You are free to turn to dust
And the cycle forever repeats
