Bj Legros Kelley Date: 7/11/2025 12:35:00 AM What was half eaten, the fig AND the insect? That is a very unhappy event if one was eating the fig....and insect. Finding half a bug halfway through a fig would make me rather unhappy ;) Otherwise, a nice solid meal for a bird or squirrel perhaps, fruit and protein, and since your pic shows the fruit still on the branch, I assume a human wasn't eating it :D Login to Reply Sara Kendrick Date: 7/11/2025 4:29:00 AM BJ, I try to avoid even touching those figs that look like they might have had contact with an insect because there could be a stinging insect hidden in there or even a fire ant.
