Broken Moon
In the full moon turquoise night
The breaking waves of the azure sea
Splinter the fallen moon
I keep the slices captive in my iris.
When I see the rolling waters
Foam your ivory feet on the tossing sands
Of the beach you stride like a deer
The pieces of the fractured moon I place
In the mold of your footprints
That creates a silver trail
Reaching my heart where you come
Make the broken moon full again in me.
The mystic glow floats like stardust
On your face, you on the moon
I see you dancing on the waves rising high
Touch the gleaming sky
You take my heart to the moon.
