What I'd like to give you is an ounce of my perfume
so you would recall the nectar of me that you love
I want you intoxicated with my scent
oh, I am thirsty for your lips and caress
I desire to enfold you in my aroma
and let the essence of me restore you
my love for you is devouring my dreams
where we walk as rose petals fall on us
infinite is my love for you - it is forever
I wish I could bring you home
but this heavenly love I will recall
in the scent of my perfume that you adored
as I turn away from your engraved stone
with tears and an aching heart
