Break the Mirror
our true essence is love and light
self-existent, luminous and eternal
it is as it is and cannot be diminished
although for now this knowing is veiled
so when the dust of ignorance is removed
there’s no difference between Buddha and us
our soul’s journey from ignorance to wisdom
is merely the dropping away of false identity
which requires cessation of fear and desire
rooted in identification with organic form
no sooner our orientation is void centric
mirror of delusion shatters; we’re free
to some it may sound disappointing
but in truth that’s all there is to ascent
when ego dies, we appear as twice born
although in truth no one came, no one left
we may liken it to waking up in the lucid dream
recognising the truth of the old adage ‘I Am That’
