Boxing Day

A long-standing custom of uncertain origins Boxing Day is tomorrow, always on a weekday, Originally, to share with the poor our provisions In modern times became another shopping day Very popular in Britain and the Commonwealth, It falls on The Feast of St. Stephen, I am told, So, on this special day, I wish my friends health Especially if sharing with the poor some gold!

Cadence? Cadence! What's cadence? Oh, yeah. Well, thank you, Caren. It does move along rather nicely, doesn't it?

You know, I hadn't the slightest inkling what it meant until I looked it up. I thought it had something to do with boxing, too. Oh well...what a pity. That would have been more exciting. Thanks, I plan to have a terrific time.

Thank you, Bill. On Wednesday, I'm off on a ten-twelve day trip through the southern U.S. to visit friends and family. I'm looking forward to a change of scenery. You'll have to keep the home fires of P.S. burning while I'm away.
