You sang to me the sweetest songs I've heard. With pen you wrote the most romantic of words, telling of the depth of the love you bear for me. It's the mirrored love my heart shares with thee. Passion smolders hottest in flames of deep blue like the sensual nights spent in intimacy with you. Curled in contentment when waking in your arms, lying next to you is better than any earthly balms. In Spring's green field, around us grasses waved. We crushed the blades when each other we craved. In the midst of nights, we made love in all seasons, sharing our bodies and hearts for countless reasons. Our blue flames of desire blazed the hottest when we touched. I want to be burned by you over and over. I love you that much.

Another Sonnet, i could not resist and once more i am glad i looked in on this piece. Blue flames of desire and passion do surely flow in this wonderful Sonnet. The words just roll off the tongue. What an intimate canvas you do paint Lin. A 7 once more.

did the picture inspire the poem or did the sonnet come before you found the picture? In any event, I think they complement each other marvelously!! Oh, to burn!!!

The sonnet was written first...actually from the Georgia O'Keefe painting Debbi posted in her blog. Although not dark blue, part of the painting looked like flames to me. Thanks, Andrea.
