Blossoms and Bubbles
Blossoms ride a babbling brook out to sea,
as it bubbles and gurgles over rocks.
And lovers under a pink cherry tree,
silently share the moment; neither talks.
Watching the pastel pink petals rain down,
they listen to the water's subtle song.
And the blossoms and bubbles swirl around,
as sweet-scented breezes push them along.
Dusk draws dark silhouettes from fading light,
while shadows merge and combine into one.
And the stars come out to confetti night,
no longer overshadowed by the sun.
Lovers succumbing to fantasy's bliss
snuggle; as pink blossoms and bubbles kiss.
