Vincent painted the almond blooms for his new born nephew named after him. His exuberance and energy to paint was curtailed shortly after when he again became ill and missed the rest of the blossom season, much to his sorrow.

the room is filled!
it's as if Spring arrived inside
removed the grey from shadows
told the sun to shine softly
yet in abundance
I cannot tire ~ I'm entranced
rested by the expulsion of energy
the World's goodness *
* dances
on *
dust
* motes
*
* to coat every inch of this space *
divinity is held still
I have time
water sustains the preserved moments
I could map
with the line of my eye
the tipping point
but given this time I have, I won't
I can ignore
the first petal that falls
can disregard the order of things
for there is new life
buds yet to bloom
