Birds In the Sky
Birds in the sky, flying so high
I cannot fly, I wonder why
We each have our specific gift
That gives us a good extra lift,
Developing mine, I do try!
Some things we simply cannot buy
It surely does no good to lie
Sending loud alto-like psssiftoo,
Birds in the sky.
When watching them, I often sigh
I hear their lonely, plaintive cry,
Especially the chimney swift
I love to watch on currents drift,
Birds in the sky.
