Bio Modified-Solitary Scribbler

Solitary Cloud watcher, tea drinker, dog walker, cat napper I love summer twilight, dawn fog, and banana cream pie I believe hype is trite, compliments are contagious, and love is homemade I feel tangled, fragile, and tentative I fear unwashed hands, unheard words, and unforeseen consequences I want to feed a giraffe, ride in a carriage, and sleep in a castle I reside on the side of feathered hope Scribbler 4/4/20 For 'Bio Modified' contest Sponsor: Dear Heart Shared 1st Place

Michelle, this was easily my favorite of all the Bios we did for the contest back in April, and I just felt like coming back tonight to enjoy your special flair, yet again. I noticed you have posted a couple new ones I've yet to see...

So happy to see this placed at the top, Michelle! You gave your bio such a poetic flair. I love dawn fog too, my facebook wallpaper is the dawn fog from a hike up a local mountain. Congrats, a good luck fulfilling those dreams! ~ John

It seems like I'm washing my hands every time I turn around! Actually my muse seems to be running overtime - I have 3 more poems I'm working on now (besides this one) So grateful for you taking the time to read and comment, Sandra-

this gets my personal attention for most creative one I have yet to see. Wow, you did an amazing job with your bio. Wish I could have been so clever!! very poetic in addition to being biographical.

Thank you, Andrea - I actually did a more traditional one about a year ago for her previous bio contest - decided to try a more creative approach this time-

Thanks, gw! (by the way, the line about feathered hope was a reference to Emily Dickinson's famous line "hope is the thing with feathers")

Add coconut to your banana cream pie! Castles are VERY cold and damp, so sleep under the stars. A feathered bed is more of a treat than hope, but why should I spoil your dreams? At least they are safe with you! Aloha! Rico

Actually, I loathe coconut! And I would prefer a castle with central heating - thanks for stopping by!

Michelle, I am so glad you did one of these bios! Love the "dog walker, cat napper" turn of phrase! Those unheard words are the silent killers, aren't they? I hope you get all your wishes. I adore your penultimate line, really adds a lovely poetic touch. Thank you for allowing us to know you a little better, solitary scribbler (and wonderful poetess, I might add)! Warmly, John

Thank you, John - that second to last line was inspired by Emily Dickinson's 'hope is the thing with feathers' - always a treat to hear from you, my new friend!

Oh, and I second the banana cream pie!

In our big family gatherings (~25 people), only my nephew-in-law and I like the banana cream pies, so they never get brought anymore! By the way, glad you wrote "catnapper", not "catnipper". It would be cause for worry if you were always getting into the catnip, lol! I agree with Andrea, this is so poetically composed. I love the line "compliments are contagious". I believe it!
