Behind the Veil of Friendship Potd

Behind the Veil of Friendship Your friend, walks very slowly behind you. Seeing the harm coming your way. His sword out, he protects you back. And you know nothing, you are not even aware of the coming whacks! You have innocent dreams, that people really do like you. He knows far better, how bitterly some do despise your poetry, too. While you dream of the goodness of man. He goes sleepless, in your defense, doing all that he can. Nobody will listen to him, in their expensive pajamas. But then, they are soulless, possessing no trained nashama.(soul) Thank God, for a friend so abundantly blessed. Who far surpasses any meagre, friendship test! Both evil and good, exist in man’s veritable soul. My friend, is one, so courageous, hardly a gross, self-seeking, popularity mole! 12/5/2021

The angel is a real poet here at PS.. full of glory and goodness! Never had one go to bat for me against hordes before. Hordes of bullies! I am honored to have one with backbone. Most will run....back another poet, who is being destroyed openly? One and one only. An angel of a poet. I love courage, a rare quality. Easy to fit in, isn’t it though? In any walk of life. Jeennifer mout, my Greek sis and excellent poet. Wow, Elena makes a freat nurse and she is a fine daughter. No I don't see myself as special. About the POTD, a poet like that is great beyond words, I found out today, my Greek bones are healing so well...i can start walking again OPA! Congratulations on your POTD win. Your "BEHIND THE VEIL OF FRIENDSHIP" is a Wonderful write. We are very lucky if we have 2 or 3 really great friends in life. Most so call friends come/go and really do not care, do not know what friendship is all about. You are still on my prayer list. God is watching over you. Dear Paula. How wise you are poetess! Plenty of both back slappers and back stabbers around. I am too naive and trust too much. Even here! On your prayer list, please pray for the repose obf the soul of my cousin, Madelyn McKay, a member of ps who died about 7 hours ago. She wrote just 2 poems but wanted her comments noted to my piems and A few others, i am devaststed. Sle was younger than I andfought cancer for 2 years.i grew up with her.like a sister she was. She encouraged me to be postive, even in the face of adversity. Heartbroken,,,pangie

He is far too great and humble to identify himself.!! What a difference he has made in my life. People are mostly cowards in the face if adversity. They go along with the “Lonely Criwd!” I have seen this in groups before...”Its their way or the highway. I never expected a POTD on this. I find it perfect to get on Dec 7Th. Pearl Harbor Day. Tom you know you are one of my special friends here. Friends like you put a sparkle in my life. Especially now. I explained why in an email. To Have someone stand for you in the face of adversity?? thats so outstanding,. I better not find any poet attacking one of my friends by bullies. That would be a war. I encourage all. Acquaintances are like ships passing in the night. Friends do not pass you by. They stop, hug you but you always live in each others’ hearts. Pangie Friends do not hurt friends, enemies do that. To them, Life is War and you are to be vanquished from their sacred space. I did not grow up learning that!
