Beauty In the Sky

Around the corner, I could see the stark, blue mountain in the sky It reminded me of everything I want to be Through changes, that have come upon me Strong but still and stable as it stands Reflecting peace, unmoved by the storms I captured its beauty as I rode on by And brought it safely home in my mind - A view that speaks volumes - To be played in a picture through time - Spun from the beauty in the sky - Heidi Sands 9/2/18 Placed among 1st place winners September 2018 poetry contest.
