Brilliant leaves of yellow, orange and red,
enchanting and pretty are falling;
another summer is dead . . .
Unpredictable the sun is crawling,
turning the days short. Oh, I love the colors of Fall!
Inspirational are the many birds that call,
foraging squirrels chase each other up tree's tall;
Under my warm coat I stroll the parks and street,
leaves crinkle and scatter at my feet.
Fall brings yesteryear memories sweet,
apple pies and apple cider delight;
logs burning in the fire at night,
lovely maple syrup cookies to bite!
