Beautiful
beautiful boy of mine.
You smile and your eyes
so blue – how they shine!
You reach out to me
with small chubby arms.
I cannot resist
your giggles and charms.
Beautiful
beautiful boy I adore.
You ask me for a hug.
I want even more!
I want to give you
the stars and the moon.
You’re happy though
with just a balloon!
Beautiful
beautiful boy so dear.
I know it’s not long
that I’ll have you near,
and so I will give
all the love that I can,
so you will grow up
a strong, loving man.
Beautiful
beautiful boy, my son.
Now and forever,
you are the one
I’ll hold in my heart.
Once you’ve gone your way,
I pray in your heart
that I’ll ever stay.
