BE KIND… The world is an unforgiving place Full of hurt and betrayal Full of falsehood And two-faced people BE THE EXCEPTION… Don’t let yourself be dragged by the unthinking mass We live in a world where everyone judges and condemns you Without knowing the facts Without caring for your feelings BE THE VOICE OF REASON… Think before you say something that may be the last straw for someone in despair Your words can hurt more than you can imagine Don’t take away someone’s self-worth… It may be the last think they have left BE UNDERSTANDING… When all we see around us is hate and prejudice Caused by our beliefs, Our skin color, By who we love… BE THE DIFFERENCE… Extend your hands for someone drowning Lend your ears for someone choking on their sorrow Give your smile to someone crying Open your heart for someone suffering BE GENEROUS… Not with possessions but with a few moments of your time Not with money but with a kind word and a smile BE… YOURSELF… Don’t let the harshness around you to make you change Sometimes it’s easier to shut off than to open up and be hurt for it But believe in yourself, because you may not be perfect… But you’re perfectly awesome just the way you are BE HAPPY… Open your heart to the good things a new day can bring you Try new experiences, Follow your dreams, Explore your passions, Laugh without reason, Love with all your heart Try your best That’s always a good start… March 23rdth, 2018
