Bad Clown of a Chimp- Nursery Rhyme

At the zoo was a new chimpanzee that the school kids were eager to see. Though we looked all around, he just couldn’t be found. He was hiding high up in a tree. When we spied him at last, we yelled HEY. We hoped he would come down and play. But he was a bad clown, for the brown stuff thrown down at the children I do not dare say. At that clown of a chimp I could cuss. He jumped down and through bars looked at us. He then started to spit, and we couldn’t take it. Field trip done! We ran back to our bus. Great, funny tale, Andrea. A worthy win. It’s funny, I’ve spent days trying to make something out of a poem about Santa crashing in the jungle and seeking help from the chimpanzees. I fear it’s going nowhere, but the coincidence is a bit weird. Congrats on your win. Terry

So the kids got smeared in the brown stuff (you don't dare to mention) and spit. The chimp made all the children have a bath at home.... Funny fellow....! Enough of him :) An interesting limerick Andrea !

LoL oh my gosh. Funny. I once had a monkey jump on me at a campground in Central America when I was young. :)

It's sad children aren't able to enjoy the field trip. A moment well worth the verse.

You see, he was in a cage and not like the children out on a field trip. But, that being said, a fine write -- very visual!
