I can see a dog barking at a dead snake, or heck a dog for that matter barking at a living snake.

The snake was alive when the dog was barking, after he killed the snake, he just took a rest on the porch. I noticed the dead snake and figured that's what all the barking was about. Have a great week, my friend. Bill

Most dogs end up getting the short end of the stick when they try to fight with a snake. Especially if poisonous. Thanks for the comment, gw. Have a great week! Bill
