Babies

As fresh and as pure as a new fallen snow As soft and as sweet as a kitten Tenderness abounds with each tiny breath One touch and a person is smitten No anger, no violence has invaded their souls No jealousy or hatred or strife Their only thought is adoration and love For their protector, their sole link to life Without a worry or a single care Their lives are unencumbered and simple Immune to the turmoil that exists in the world All their worries would fit in a thimble Oh the gentle innocence of a new born babe With the scent of sweet smelling jasmine A beautiful rhapsody bundled in a blanket Wrapped in pink satiny skin As fresh and as pure as a new fallen snow As soft and as sweet as a kitten Tenderness abounds with each tiny breath One touch and a person is smitten @Jack Ellison 2012

My favorite line: "All their worries would fit in a thimble" - if only we could worry less! Very original thoughts in this one. Babies are precious, and we can learn a lot from them. Always, Laura

These must be lyrics to a song. Do you have the melody that accompanies this? I'll bet it will sound lovely.
