Awaiting Loveliness - Acrostic
L Longing for the warmth of springtime days
O over frigid gloom of wintertime,
V varied memories come sweetly forth.
E Etched like a painting by Monet, I see
L longer, brighter days with springtime sun
I inviting buds to slowly make debut,
N nudging dormant trees to hazy green;
E expressing to have wintertime unfold
S springtime bliss when waiting earth renews
S splendid newborn days of loveliness.
