Avian Abode

Solid white oak tree with stalwart branches. God's creatures, bed and breakfast. Refuge for the wayward kitten. Hides the homes and young of the song birds and scurrying squirrels. Deep rooted to stand for ages and shade the lives of those who journey and stop to rest for awhile below your splendorous branches.

Dear Doris: Great poem!!! I have always admired trees of age. What an amazing story they could tell, if only we knew how to communicate with them. Have a wonderful day. Peace: Sheol
