Autumn Beauty
Outside my window
the maple, oak and aspen trees
have removed their emerald green gowns
for lovely ones of red, gold and orange
so bright against the Autumn sky
that it takes my breath away
and I am awed . . .
as they seem to be whispering to me
so in a trance like state
with a camera to capture
their fleeting beauty, I go
for soon, so soon they will remove
their lovely Autumn attire . . .
in twirling, whirling leaves falling
for capes of dazzling snow white
