Very original ! This poem I consider as a forerunner to Autumn. The time is drawing near for the raking of leaves.

It never fails to astonish me how a succinct collection of words can convey such profound meaning. The adept utilization of language in this context greatly appeals to me.

Paige, this is quite wonderful! So filled with impressive images - "heat on rippling leaves," "the pressure snarls." Such wonderful word usage. Enjoyed this very much through its creative originality of thought and expression! Blessings!

Hi Paige, I really like the feel of this, especially 'unjaded, they don't drop' - says much with few lines~
