At Day's End

She rests her head Her pillow feels divine Her day overflowed with work Fulfilling but exhausting Wish there were many More hours in a day Never enough time She rests her weary body Thoughts of things to do Run through her head It’s never about accomplishments Her list To Do just keeps getting longer Tomorrow’s just a few winks away She should be counting sheep AP: 2nd place 2020, 3rd place 2020, Honorable Mention 2020 Submitted on March 5, 2019 for CONTEST 570 sponsored by BRIAN STRAND Originally posted this February, 2018
