I love the beauty of dawn
when the sky starts to lighten
and birds start to peep and tweet
I love lying in bed listening to their songs
growing louder, mingling to a great symphony
and as the sun is peaking
the gulls are flying over and over in circled flight
and mated crows glide high
and dive down again and again calling each other
then, gangs of little brown sparrows
dart from branches of trees as one
as I watch from my bedroom window with kitty
saying good morning world !
