Most creatures we see as troublesome or neuseance animals are simply trying to live their lives as we live ours.

Not wanting to cause trouble or have anyone cause them trouble.

They just want to be left alone to live their lives and survive.

Roly poly armor plated, Clumsy gated beast. Looking for a juicy worm, A creepy, crawly feast. Sleeping mostly through the day, Prowling at night, seeming quiet, docile, shy, He can put up a fight. Not a trouble maker, It's just his lot in life. He does his best not to be seen. He's trying to survive.

This is so cute, Judy! Once, when I was staying with my son in Georgia, I saw an armadillo crossing his back yard. I ran to get my phone to take a picture but by the time I got back he was gone. I was so disappointed as it was the first one I had ever seen. Great poem! Blessings, Kim
