Another Time
I saw some mist
gathering to form,
watched intensely
my usual norm;
not solely for clouds
I’ve seen many before,
It’s just that sky's
immensity I adore;
and likewise with seas
and numerous trees,
how unfathomable
the waters
and the forests
on forever...but
that was another me
and another time
when lightning was
yet a sign
and the wind
a raging voice
I was free
to follow
or fear….
