Angels Do Exist

She appeared in brilliant light- on one starless December night. ~and~ I abandoned my belief that angels do not exist. For I’ve seen the glory heaven bestows when death prevails- I refuse to believe souls ascend not above to gates of praise, forever adored and appreciated. Because I’ve seen it; felt the presence of the King of all Kings, Savior of heaven and earth with her... by His side. (hands fade to my cheek; wiping years of pain away) Stubborn am I when it comes to my beliefs- My tenacity grows and I am forever seeking her in another reverie (ripples of pursuit)- my eyes closed, hearts connected… perpetually. My intranscigence runs deep; it settles in my marrow and flows through my violet veins. (peace fills my soul) I shall never cease believing in angels… for she is my angel.
