The Lord’s grace of loving brace anchors my life race Along His might upon truth’s light for choices right Midst doubt strain, healing struggles’ pain for great faith Blessing heart to show caring part against hate dart Toward goal of worshipful soul with servant role. Christ, my fortress* guards from sin-stress against guilt-distress Smiting foe for hopeful glow along blessings’ flow Divine gift hoisting prayer lift from worldly drift In His promised land, wisely planned where I can stand Thank God, I’m nourished, so lavished, never famished.
*Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. August 19, 2020 3rd place, "Keen Observation I" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Funom Makama; judged on 9/14/2020.

A big big congratulations for this feat. I am so sorry this is coming a month late, due to the pressure, we medical practitioners are facing at this time, I didn't have the time to go through the contest, but I am glad I did. it was a difficult decision to make, a big congratulations to you once again.

Beata, I love this line: Christ, my fortress* guards from sin-stress against guilt-distress. Amen! Yes, he does!
