Anchor of Life Race
The Lord’s grace of loving brace anchors my life race Along His might upon truth’s light for choices right Midst doubt strain, healing struggles’ pain for great faith Blessing heart to show caring part against hate dart Toward goal of worshipful soul with servant role. Christ, my fortress* guards from sin-stress against guilt-distress Smiting foe for hopeful glow along blessings’ flow Divine gift hoisting prayer lift from worldly drift In His promised land, wisely planned where I can stand Thank God, I’m nourished, so lavished, never famished. *Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
