Amy

Amy I know a man who has never loved another; He was just a late teen when he gave her his heart; Like others who could just outgrow, Never did he forget his love – Amy. So he has longed and is now beginning “old.” Tried marriage once as a middle aged man, His wife wasn’t kind, didn’t know His heart would always belong to – Amy. Oh, he tried to find her in his way. She married someone and went overseas, She doesn’t know, I suppose, he still pines for her. He’s 60, still dreaming of soulmate – Amy. Should he find her, he wouldn’t care, If she had changed to fat and graying hair, He’d be blind to anything but the love in his eyes, Always seeing her as “beautiful” – Amy

Yes! This is such a human problem, the uneven romantic side. You reveal it so well. daver

This story can pertain to many I am sure, when you meet that one, the one that just completely engulfs your heart you never forget and never stop longing for them, regardless of what else has happened in your life. Nicely expressed my friend.
