I always make the same mistake, and end up getting rejected; no one cares that they give heartbreak, they are like my weeds collected. And I ask what is wrong with me? I always make the same mistake; and from them- I wish to be free, for their words and actions are fake. Oh, must turn away with an ache, I cared deep- I really did; I always make the same mistake, but I want people who are good. Hi BW, First of I must say , you picked a good quote. It works well with your well written poem. I’ve made the same mistake relentlessly. I craved for people to like me, so I had toxic relationships because of it. These days I stay away from toxic people. This should do well in the contest. I wish you the best of luck.
