Her heart held fast to the hope,
Bringing light from the promise of a night
When stars glistened, happy and new,
In skies where twilight had blazed a graceful
Dance through the prayers, the praise
Promising the moon with its silent gaze
Her heart held onto the memories,
Breathtaking feelings, erasing dismal sorrows
Wounds from the past who stuffed away
Pain and sadness, all the bruised feelings, the angry
Violet memories who died mysteriously
In the flames of a great beauty, healing the past
With all its reflections of yesterday, remembering the
Good, the best…
Her heart held fast to the faith, the believing
Wherever she walked, there was assurance, a promise
That this moment, this day, would bring a confidence,
A conviction – the truth of a heart, the beautiful
In a soul, the knowing that forever is certainly life’s goal
Her heart knew, without beating – she was still breathing,
She was still healing – she was still believing
And all that the heart could do… all the love it could send
Through its rhythmic ache… throbbing for forever,
Soundless, yet awake…
Her heart knew, with every pounding… the music of life,
The love that comes to life despite all the strife…
This is the love that holds the meaning, the key, the secret
Blessing those who see its wisdom erasing every doubt,
Reassuring all the hopes and dreams, arising to meet the past
With a promise of forever, a promise of complete peace
A promise of love that brings everlasting the chance to see…
He is in the past. He is in the present and He is in the future,
Where He will forever be alive – living eternally…
Bringing the soul assurance of always!
