All's Right With the World

Comes the time when morning whispers The long night of quiet is ending fast, Dawn’s sun is rising beyond the horizon Soon streets with pedestrians amassed. Another fine day with hopes and dreams One thinks little of impending tragedies, Where nothing sinister could reign here Why waste time considering remedies? Think lovely scent of perfumed flowers, Sing the tunes of a recent Disney musical Make believe all is right with the world, And everyone lives by faith, all are ethical Certainly not in our time wicked darts hurled Or satanic flags of damnation be unfurled.

"Another fine day with hopes and dreams" I love this line; I may have to borrow some of it.

Well... last night I couldn't sleep, everything I had ahead of me today looked like an impassable wall. And yet, I just had a coffee and I'm reading poetry by my friend Milton, calmly...
