Above gray clouds, I swing in light
Through changes daylight brings to night
I hear your voice, it comforts me
In blindness where I cannot see
Sometimes the best waits out of sight
The soft clouds cleanse me, colored white
Smoothly I swing, things are made right
Accepting loss, letting it be
Above gray clouds
Some people judge, I say, “not quite”
Unless you have taken this flight
Below me is the pain I flee,
Tears in puddles, so I am free
To swing and swing, to gather might
Above gray clouds
