A Wish To Be
Above windswept mountains, a Condor glides
To cross the wide horizon's endless band
In search of its prey that trembles and hides
From the highest mountains of wonderland
I wish I had his feathered wings to fly
To soar in freedom's space above it all
See the sacred view with a searching eye
To rise with the warm winds and gently fall
With the majesty of flight to break free
To ride the silent clouds on winds that part
And flee my Earthly bonds my wish to be
As proud and regal as a Condor's heart
That will allow my soul this timeless quest
To fly with the Condor on the Earth's breath
