A Virtual Invasion

Once upon a time in the real world, One could see forever, Climb any mountain, Fish in any river, And walk for miles in any direction, With little chance of getting Mugged. Once upon a time one felt safe to roam the internet, Without a cloud in the virtual sky to spoil the view, And one could virtually fish with no fear of being attacked by sharks Every game was a bit of harmless fun, And virtual lanes and garden paths held no nasty surprises. Alas now it is hard to tell the difference between the two worlds, With walls and fences popping up everywhere in both worlds, Criminal activity prevalent in both, And the cost of living in both rising.
