There is a special man we look up to. Writing great poems on Poetry Soup. His Limericks put a smile on our face, being from the great UK, his birthplace. His adventures at Milton's Creek thrill us. They are gripping tales to read, and a must. The Master of story telling is he. Writing awesome Poem's to enjoy and read. Sharing his feedback, he gives you his best. His much valued comments, always impress. He's been to some Countries, with his Dear wife, and shares his adventures, about his life. Soon peace in Ukraine, He wants and supports. Crimes against Putin, in a Ukraine court! Many followers that look up to him, are so privileged to call him their friend. I know your asking yourself, who's this man? Tom is a shining star on soup as he is usually first to comment and encourage others. His gift of writing is as huge as his heart and wonderful disposition despite challenges in his life. I appreciate his passion and whenever I need help he is among the first with aid to help. Soup is a better place because he and others like him make it so!

A true friend and gentleman. A gentle person who is a bright spot in a field of negativity, a refreshing drink during a drought, a warm fire when days are cold. A sincere individual. :)

Tom is amazing, wise and loving. As I wrote my 'Challenge Poems' that my husband challenged me to do because I felt so low for my poetic contributions for 2024 (ten poems!), Tom encouraged me with every poem I wrote for the four days of ten poems each day till I completed my challenge. That meant the world to me. His love of the Southwest is greatly appreciated and evident as he writes his tales of Milton Creek, a very talented installment of tales which captivate us. He's a great person!

Tom has a wonderful storytelling gift full of laughter and goodwill, as storytelling should be. I have followed him for as long as I can remember here on the soup. Tom is one one in a million I say that from the bottom of my heart. His continual support, even through hard times for me on soup, were sincerely noticed, his loyalty ever present. His kindness evident in his open face. Congratulations are due on all his remarkable achievements on soup. By reading all his wonderful poetry he inspired me to write three Limericks, and got POTD for all 3. Swell Tom, Home sweet Home, Informative Tom, and Tom loves Marmite. I think I got the idea reading one of your Poems where you also did a tribute or a special piece on Tom. I wanted like you to share what Tom is like and how much this community appreciates him. I know you are a big supporter of his Poetry and He is of yours, like I am. I am impressed with all the great comments for Tom that this community has given. I am so glad many of his supporters showed up and shared a few words to reflect what they thought about one of our best and popular writers. Hope you got my soupmail last night.. Regarding Tom. I consider him a friend of my family and mine! That goes beyond poetry!i ..i have friends I cannot read everyday anymore. Yes friendship doesoverride my commemts to Tom. I am in the first anthology with a tribute to Tom. Three years ago, while in hospital, a published poetess visited me. I read her mt Tribute to Tom and Cried Love, Pangie. I knew him B4 most did ! Great job. Pangie

It was nice that you shared his personality of having a wonderful sense of humor and his story telling which he demonstrates in his Poetic archives of story telling, that he shares with us. Thanks John he sure is a gentleman. My Christmas was quiet. I have an elder friend, he used to coach high school basketball. His wife went to see his Grand kids in Canada, so he was all alone for Christmas. He loves NY style pizza and I made a pizza for him and delivered it 15 miles away last night and sat and talked to him for a while. Came back home and had a turkey dinner with my wife. Just a quiet night. I hope your went well, I know you were thinking of your beloved and the Poem you wrote honored her. I told Judy of your poem and she said it was a message from her to you and God for your POTD. Thank you John for honoring Tom. I thought there would be more comments but I guess Christmas had everyone busy and tending to their families...
