A Sonnet For Spring
Daises of soft chiffon embrace the field,
where wild flowers blossom in dulcet tunes.
Walking with lace violets as I reeled
on such a perfect Sunday afternoon.
The Lord ascends into resurrection,
He showers all who see with faith and love.
For we share a rare bond and connection
as He rises free with a turtle dove.
Spring arrives with nature’s hope for beauty,
she redeems the Winter with warmth and light.
With excitement I see what awaits me
with all the pulchritude I hold in sight.
Now is the time sorrow is washed away-
where the dread of cold sees a brand-new day.
